Recipe info:

One of the most easiest and healthiest soup perfect for a healthy breakfast or light dinner. Its' most delicious and healthy perfect for kids in evening as a light snack to fill up their little hunger.


Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes


Ingredients:

1/4 cup rolled or any oats;

11/2 cup mixed vegetables (I used carrots, peas, beans and corns);

1 tbsp. unsalted butter;

1 chopped garlic;

1 chopped ginger;

1/2-1/4 tsp. crushed pepper;

1/4 tsp. Red chilli flakes;

2 cups water or as required;

1/2 tsp. Italian herb or Oregano;

Salt as required;

1 tsp. Lemon juice (optional).


How to prepare?

  • First, add butter in hot pan. When it starts to melt add garlic. Saute it well.

  • Add oats and roast it for about 1-2 minutes. If using steel oats then roast it for about 3-4 minutes.

  • Add all vegetables.

  • Add water as desired.

  • Sprinkle herbs and pepper.

  • Add salt and turn off the flame.

  • Serve it warm and sprinkle red chilli flakes or lemon juice.
