Pav Bhaji Flavoured Pasta

Pav bhaji masala flavored with red chilli powder, chaat masala which cooked with a puree of onions, tomatoes, peas and cauliflower topped with fusilli pasta. Pav Bhaji is considered a favorite snack in India, so when flavored into pasta, it tastes very tasty.


Pav Bhaji Flavored Pasta Recipe Fusion Fusilli pasta is one of the most interesting fusion recipes made to appeal to the Indian palate, which comes with the flavor of pav bhaji. Pav bhaji is one of the most beloved Indian snack recipes and I have fused this delicious flavor with some Italian pasta to make it quite smeared and mouthwatering.


Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Serves: 2-4 servings


Ingredients:

2 cup Pasta Fusilli , cooked as per instructions on packet;

1/4 cup chopped Carrot (Gajjar);

1/2 cup chopped Onion;

1/4 cup chopped Red Yellow and Green Bell Peppers (Capsicum);

1/2 cup chopped Tomato;

1/2 cup boiled and mashed Potato (Aloo);

1/4 cup chopped & blanched Cauliflower (gobi);

1/4 cup blanched Green peas (Matar);

1/4 tsp. Chaat Masala Powder;

3 tbsp. Butter (Salted);

2 tsp. Pav bhaji masala;

1/2 tsp. Red Chilli powder;

1/4 tsp. Turmeric powder (Haldi);

1 tbsp. Lemon juice;

1 tbsp. Red Chilli sauce;

Salt as per taste

2 tbsp. grated Cheese.


How to cook?

  • To start preparing the Pav BhajiFusion Fusilli Pasta flavored pasta recipe blanch the vegetables, boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker and mash them, chop all the necessary vegetables.

  • Heat a kadai / wok with butter over medium heat. When the butter is hot enough, add the onions and saute them until they are tender and pink in the butter. Maintain a medium flame / heat all the time.

  • Once the onions are translucent and pink, add the carrots, sauté for a few seconds, add the peppers and sauté for a minute or two, until half cooked.

  • At this point, add the finely chopped tomatoes, fry them and cook well until they become mushy.

  • Once the tomatoes are mushy, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, and pavbhaji masala. Saute well.

  • Now add the boiled and mashed potatoes, blanched peas and cauliflower. Add a little water (about 2 tablespoons maximum), salt and mash it well with a wooden or steel masher. Adjust the water as needed

  • At this point add the red chili garlic sauce, stir it well and turn off the heat . Add the lemon juice. Check the salt and spices, and adjust if necessary.

  • In another wok, heat a little butter and add pre-cooked pasta once the butter is heated.

  • Add the buttery pasta to the pav bhaji masala and mix the pav bhaji pasta well to coat.

  • Serve this delightful Pav Bhaji Fusilli Fusion pasta recipe after garnishing it with a generous amount of grated cheese.
