Filled with nutrition Thalipeeth is an ideal way to start your breakfast morning. Made with healthy combination of different flours, vegetables and spice powder. This recipe is enriched with protein, iron, fiber and folic acid helps boost your immunity and also perfect for diet conscious and diabetic patients.

 

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients:

3 tbsp. Bajra flour (Black millet);

3 tbsp. jowar flour (White millet);

3 tbsp. Whole wheat flour (gheun ka atta);

3 tbsp. besan (bengal gram flour);

3/4 cup Cabbage Shreeded;

1/4 cup Onions, finely chopped;

1/2 tsp. Green chillies, finely chopped;

1//2 tsp. Coriander and cumin powder (dhania - jeera powder);

2 tbsp Chopped Coriander (Dhania);

Salt as per taste;

1 1/2 tsp. Oil for cooking and greasing.

 

How to Cook?

  • First, combine all ingredients in a deep bowl and knead it in a soft dough using water as required.

  • Divide the dough in 6 equal portions and set it aside.

  • heat non-stick tava and grease it using bit of oil.

  • Now wet your fingers, place a portion of dough on hot tava and pat it with fingers to make a circle.

  • Cook on both the sides using bit of oil or till it turns golden brown from both the sides.

  • Repeat the above steps for remaining dough and serve hot thalipeeth along with chutney.
