Maggi Puff recipe



A unique recipe for children’s favorite fried snacks, filled with Maggi noodles in a bread pocket. This may be one of the ideal leftover bread snack recipes for all ages, including children and adults. They are usually served as a late night snack to children or adults, with a cup of coffee, but they can also be used as separate side dishes for lunch and dinner.


Puff Patties or other baked snacks are very popular in India, especially among the younger generation. Making puff pastry can be tricky and requires a lot of effort and dedication to achieve the same effect as store brought pastry. In this stressful situation, you can also use leftover bread slices by preparing Maggi as stuffing also known as Maggi bread puff.


Ingredients:

For Maggi:

1 tsp butter;

2 clove garlic;

1/2 finely chopped Onion;

1/2 finely chopped Carrot;

2 tbsp. Sweet Corn;

2 tbsp. chopped Capsicum;

1/2 finely chopped Tomato;

1 pack Tastemaker;

1/2 tsp. Chilli powder;

1/4 Salt;

1 cup Water

1 pack of Maggie noodles.


For slurry:

1/2 cup Maida;

1/2 cup Corn flour;

1/2 tsp. Chilli flakes;

1/2 tsp. Salt;

1/2 cup Water.


Other ingredients:

10 slices of bread (white or brown);

1 cup Breadcrumbs;

Oil for frying.


How to prepare?

  • Let's make mix veg Maggi:

  • In a pan heat butter, add garlic clove and onion. Saute it well.

  • Add carrot, sweet corn, capsicum and tomato.

  • Saute it for 2 minutes till the vegetables shrink a lightly.

  • Add tastemaker, chilli powder and salt. Saute till it spices mix well.

  • Add water and get water to boil.

  • Add pack a maggi noodles and mix it well.

  • Cook it for 2 minutes or till noodles are cooked well.

  • Mix veg maggi well and set it aside.


Make slurry:

  • In a small bowl add maida, corn flour, chilli flakes and salt.

  • Add water and make a lump free batter.

  • Slurry is ready.


Making bread puff with maggi stuffing:

  • Take a bread slice and cut the sides.

  • Roll it gently to a uniform thickness.

  • Add a tbsp of maggi and fold.

  • Seal the sides. Make sure there is no gap.

  • Dip the bread in slurry and roll it in breadcrumbs.

  • Deep fry it in il on a medium flame.

  • Keep stirring till the puff gets golden brown from both the sides.

  • Place the puff on kitchen towel to drain off excess oil.

  • Maggi Puff is ready. Serve it with tomato ketchup and hot tea.
