Maggi Pizza

A unique and tasty pizza recipe in which Maggi Noodles are used as pizza base with vegetable and cheese toppings is a perfect snack recipe for children offering both Maggi flavor and pizza, forming a unique taste. This recipe can be made with many other types of noodles but the flavor of Maggi masala tastes different than the final dish.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Serves: 1 Pizza


Ingredients:

Pizza base using Maggi:

1½ cup water;

2 pack Maggi tastemaker;

2 pack Maggi noodles;

1 tbsp. corn flour;

1 tbsp. butter.


Toppings:

2 tbsp. pizza sauce;

6 tbsp. mozzarella cheese;

Few chopped capsicum;

3 sliced tomatoes;

few sliced jalapeno;

few sliced olives;

¼ tsp. mixed herbs;

¼ tsp. chilli flakes;

2 tbsp. sweet corn;

1 tsp. olive oil.


How to prepare?

  • First, pour 1½ cups of water into a large wok and add 2 packets of Maggi Tastemaker. Mix it well and let the water boil.

  • Once water starts to boil, add Maggi noodles and mix it. Let it boil for 2 minutes till it turns soft.

  • Now add 1 tbsp. of cornstarch and mix well. The cornstarch helps provide a crispy base.

  • Continue cooking for one minute or until the water is gone.

  • In a frying pan, spread 1tbsp of butter then transfer the Maggi.

  • Spread the Maggi evenly forming the base of the pizza.

  • Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, making sure to keep the heat low or the base will burn.

  • Cook until the base becomes crispy. Flip it over gently.

  • Spread 2 tbsp. pizza sauce and add 4 tbsp. mozzarella cheese on top.

  • Add capsicum, 3 slice of tomato, jalapeno and olives.

  • Sprinkle mixed herbs, chili flakes and sweet corn.

  • If you need it more cheesy add 2 tbsp. of mozzarella cheese more.

  • Spread olive oil on sides. Cover it and let it simmer or till cheese melts completely.

  • Its ready, slice Maggi pizza and enjoy it hot.
