Another splendid beauty that one can enjoy at Dhuandhar Falls is its marble rocks. Even during the blistering summer heat, Dhuandhar Falls manages to please the visitors with its extraordinary magnificence and wealth of adventure sports options.


From trying out boat ride and cable car to enjoying the picnic on the riverside, Dhuandhar falls have everything that creates it a perfect hangout destination to go to in Jabalpur.

Price:

  • There's no entry fee for Dhuandhar Falls. However, if you engage in boat riding here, the fees are INR 100 per person.

  • If you want to go on a personal boat then the fees may be Rs.800 INR which takes you to the end of the gorge from where the water enters. Don’t forget to bargain.


Timings:

You can visit the enthralling Dhuandhar Falls between 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Known for attracting tourists and devotees, this 76-feet tall Lord Shiva statue is actually a sight to behold and among the simplest temples in Madhya Pradesh. The statue presents a particular replica of around 12 Shiva lingams from some of the most popular Shiva temples in the country.


This alluring idol of Lord Shiva is nestled in Kachnar city and is reckoned among the foremost sacred tourist spots in Central India.


Due to remarkable blend of panoramic surroundings and spiritual aura, it also forms an ideal spot for a family outing. If you are a Lord Shiva devotee, visiting this temple is certainly one among the top crucial things to try when you visit Jabalpur.

Cable and Boat ride in Bheda Ghat

Amazingly popular for its tantalizing landscapes and gushing waterfalls, Bhedaghat is one of the best places to view beautiful marble rocks which stand 100 feet high. The sweetness of this place exponentially rises when the rays of sunlight fall on these white-colored marbles.


At Bhedaghat, you can also enjoy boat rides in the middle of November and May. A cable car or ropeway is there which takes the visitors through the gorge thus providing a memorable experience of their life.

Full value for money boat ride in Bhedaghat is INR 50 per person for shared boat rides, while a personal boat starts at INR 400 and cable car ride costs around INR 55 per person.


Timings:

Boat and car ride starts at 10 AM within the morning and continues till 5 PM.

Kanha National park: A jungle safari

What can be the best way to explore the thick forests of Kanha park than going for a jeep safari? Reckoned among the simplest things to do in Jabalpur, jungle safari is itself an exhilarating experience.


The safari becomes even more action-packed with the group of other tourists and expert naturalists. If you are a photographer or a photo fanatic, I bet you will take back a wealth of memories on your way back home by capturing the rich wildlife and vegetation of Kanha Park.


Jungle jeep safari is one of the best to explore those areas of the park which can't be accessed by the any other modes of transportation.

Entry ticket for Kanha zone is around INR 2400. While to get an entry into Kisli, Sarhi or Mukki region, one must pay around INR 1200. The value of hiring a jeep comes around INR 2200.


Timings:

The park remains open from 8:00 AM within the morning to 10:00 PM.
