Something unique I came across this dish made a renowed chef, I thought of trying it myself and sharing this lovely recipe. Cooked with Bhindi, meat, tomato and flavourful masalas, would make a perfect dish for dinner party with rice or naan.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 1 hour


6 tbsp Oil;

11/2 cup Okra (cleaned);

4 large grated Onions;

4 large grated Tomatoes;

1 tbsp. Ginger and Garlic paste;

3 tsp. Salt;

2 tsp. Coriander powder;

2 tsp. Garam masala;

1 tsp. Red chilli powder;

2 sticks of Cinnamon;

2 Black Cardamom, black;

12 Cloves;

1 kg Meat (Boneless).

How to cook?

  • Put oil in a pan. Add onions and cook till translucent.

  • Add Cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf and cardamom.

  • Stir in meat and salt.

  • Cook for 10-15 minutes and then add all spices.

  • Add tomatoes and keep stirring till the oil separates.

  • Add 6 cups of water and transfer in pressure cooker.

  • Add garam masala and cook it on fast flame till it whistles. Let it cook on a lower flame for 25 minutes.

  • Add Okra and cook till its soft.

  • With okra done, its an indication that meat is done too.

  • Serve hot.
